News for 2004
12/30/04 – I added a fun section. You can get to it by clicking on the funny things link on the left. It only has one thing on there but I thought it was funny so I added it. Plus it’s my site so I can put whatever I want. I also have been adding some more things to the truck section. We got some the things for our trucks. I took pictures and will put them on here soon. I got a digital camera for Christmas so I have been taking pictures of everything. Well have a Happy and SAFE new year.
12/23/04 – I made a few changes to my website. If you know the area of my site you want to go to you can get to it easily now. I created sub domains that help people get to where they want to go faster. I created: homepage.jeremywjones.com, computers.jeremywjones.com, jeremy.jeremywjones.com, jaylyn.jeremywjons.com, guestbook.jeremywjones.com, and members.jeremywjones.com. The members section is the newest addition to the site. You can get to any of these sections by typing it in the URL line of any browser. The members section is something that I have been working on to provide a way to add your own content to the web. It turns anyone into a webmaster. I am writing step-by-step instructions on how to upload files and customize your section. Visit members.jeremywjones.com for all the info. Well everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 12/7/04 – I only have one class left this semester for school. I can finally enjoy the Christmas break. I added a link in the computer support section on how to change your homepage. Since I came up with a new homepage which is over to the right. The directions on the computer support page will walk you through changing the homepage in Internet Explorer. If you use a different browser then Internet Explorer then email me and I will post the directions for whatever browser you use. Well if I am not back on here for awhile then everyone have a Great Holiday break.
12/3/04 – I created a page that can be set as your homepage. You can see the page here. I also placed a section on the left side with a link to it. I wanted to create a page that has useful links on it. You can access your web based email programs, search Google, and news all from one place. Try it out and pass it along. I put a counter on it because I want to see if it was worth the effort to make it. I also have a link to email me with suggestions. Any links that you want on there I will add. It was just a thought I had so I hope everyone enjoys it.
12/3/04 – I wrote a paper on multimedia PCs. You can read the paper here or visit the computer support section. The paper goes over what a multimedia PC is and how it is used. In other news I just received a Gmail account. Thanks to Kristina. If you don’t know what a Gmail account is you can read about it here. School is almost over for this semester too. I just have two more times to go. Finally Christmas vacation. Well I haven’t got the calendar or member section done yet. But I am also working on a Google search page you can set as your homepage. Keep checking back for all the latest news in my life.
11/11/04 – I fixed the Google search feature on the left side. When searching my pages it was not displaying any results. Now when you search it searches the entire “staff” directory”. Another note: Mozilla Firefox was released on November 9th. If you downloaded previous versions I recommend getting the latest release. You can download it from here. I also am planning on adding a calendar feature and possible a jeremywjones.com member section. As long as I finish my semester papers I want to have the new stuff posted by this weekend. And remember my birthday is November 20th. Don’t forget.
10/8/04 – The pictures of my new truck are on the website. Click here to see them. I will keep you informed if any new stuff is put on the website. Remember that the website is a work in progress. So the things that don’t work now will someday. I just edit it when I have some free time. Thanks for visiting.
10/8/04 – I added some pictures of my sister at homecoming. They are on her page. Click here to see the pictures. I am planning on having the pictures of my new truck on here today. So check back to see if they are.
10/1/04 – I have added some more stuff to the Computer Support page. I am trying to help people out by finding online resources to help with general computer problems. Instead of searching through other sites you just come to mine and I have links to important computer questions, and things that need to be done. By using some of the programs and documentation your computer might start running a little better. I am also posting a car section on the main page. People are asking what my new car looks like. So I will post it on there. I will also have links to car parts and accessories. Thanks for visiting and see you back soon.
9/27/04 – I put the August 14th 2004 pictures on the house page. You can get to it by clicking here. The house is done in these pictures. I am still planning on taking better quality pictures of the house. Plus the outside is still undergoing improvements so I will keep those pictures updated. I also added the new computer support page. I have the look of the page done. I need to add the content too it. I will slowly be updating the computer support page. You can’t read most of it but it gives a general idea of what it is going to look like. Well check back soon. Since I got my web software I will be updating more frequently.
9/24/04 – I just saved up enough money and bought my webpage software. I was using a trial version. So now I will be updating the website again. I do have some final pictures of the house. I also just bought a new truck. So I will post pictures of it for everyone to see. I hope that I can get some more content on here so there is more to read about. I already have been working on the computer support page. Check back soon and often for the updates. I will keep you posted in the news area.
8/6/04 – It has been a week since we have been in the new house. It has been good. I made it to work on time all week so that’s a plus. Other than moving out not too much new news. I did do a few updates on the website. You probably wont even know what I changed. I am going to try to have the move in day pictures on this weekend. It kind of depends if my mom goes and picks them up. Well this is enough for now. If anything new comes up I will let you know.
8/1/04 – First of all I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my brother. It is his 20th birthday today. The second thing is we moved into his house. It is his house, I am just a renter. Our first night was 7/30/04. We have been working on finishing up little things inside the house. We also have started on the outside improvements. We took pictures of us moving in. As soon as they are developed I will post them. I will also take pictures of the outside improvements. So check back often.
7/26/04 – Yes it has been awhile. But I got the camera working. New pictures of the house are on the page. Click here for the pictures. Or go to New house to get the pictures. The house is almost done. Move in date set for July 31st, 2004. Yet we still don’t have carpet, which is being laid on the 30th. After the carpet is laid and before we move in I will try to take some more pictures.
7/22/04 – Most of the old links are working again. I also added a Google search feature. Search the web, or just my site. Searching my site is not completely working since Google has not registered all the pages yet. I will keep you posted on any new info. New pictures of the house should be on this weekend. I had a problem with my camera and my new computer. They didn’t like each other.
7/17/04 – New main page created. I am trying to go with a more professional look of my website. It also allows me to try out new designs. I am planning on a full site update. I just got new web page software and needed to try it out. I will post when the other pages are updated.
