The new addition to the family
Below are some pictures of the new addition to our family. She is just a little over 2 pounds and she is 10 weeks old. We named her Bella. She is a little yorkie. Sarah has been talking to me about a puppy for a good 6 months. She found this little one and fell in love with her. She was referred to on the site as Puppy #5. I finally called about her on Sunday afternoon and they mentioned that they had a few calls about the puppies. I didn’t want to lose her so after talking with my mom I decided to order her. The lady there was really nice. When we ordered the puppy we had planned to drive there and pick her up. She was located in Southern Missouri. But after thinking about the 5.5 hour drive we thought it might be best to pay for the shipping. We received the puppy on Monday night. I would have never thought that I could have ordered a puppy and it would get to me that quick. The electronics I order online take a week.
She didn’t sleep well her first night. She just wanted to lay with me and I wanted her to lay in her cage. At 2 pounds I could roll over and smash her. I compromised and laid next to her cage with her in it. We both went to sleep around 4 AM. Tuesday was a day of exploring her surroundings and playing with the toys. We went on long walks. I was very impressed with how long she could walk for. She is a great walker because she just follows you. Really she is at your feet most of the time. I’m sure this is just her being scared of her new surroundings. But it really makes it nice on walks that you know she is going to be right beside you and not be off getting into trouble.

Really the people there were so kind and helpful. I look back and I’m amazed on how easy and smooth the process was for getting Bella.
