Bella’s first snow and she got spayed
We took Bella out for her first snow experience and she loved it. We were cold and wanted to come in but she wanted to stay out there. So we took her out everyday to play in it. And she even liked running around on ice. There hasn’t been any outside time recently though because she got spayed this past Friday. I expected things to be worse for her but she really didn’t mind. She was a little lazier on Friday night when we brought her home but she still wanted to run around and play. We also bought some gel to put on her stitches so she wouldn’t play with them. It is supposed to taste bad but she really liked it and wanted us to give her more. On Saturday she did get sick about 6PM. But she was active all day and I think she over did it. On Sunday she was back to normal and wanted to eat. We put food in her bowl and it was gone before we could put the bag away. We still havent’ taken her outside yet. I didn’t want to get her stitches all wet. Since she is so small she drags her belly in the grass.
I was told by a lot of people that she would be sleepy for 3 or 4 days after getting spayed but it seems to not have bothered her at all. There are some pictures of her below going outside in the snow. I also have some of her with her stitches.
